DBH Dienstleistungsgesellschaft mbH was founded in 1997. It is responsible for commercial administration, bookkeeping, controlling and IT for nine companies in the building materials and hardware store industry. In 2010, we went on the hunt for a document business provider. Back then, we were responsible for ensuring that our existing devices, printers and copiers were in full working order. We wanted to change the situation. We therefore put the contract out to tender and requested quotations from a number of service providers. That’s when Roland Nöll from TA Triumph-Adler contacted us. We were looking to find a partner who would provide a total package of devices and services: for DBH itself as well as our customers.
A well-running document workflow is critical for retail operators in our industry for one simple reason: The greatest volume of paper is generated in direct contact with customers at the point of sale. That’s because quotations, order confirmations, bills of material and invoices are all produced in triplicate. Any disruptions cascade and create real problems.
Roland Nöll from TA Triumph-Adler examined each individual system workstation and was in close communication with Mr Henrichvark, our IT manager. We were impressed by this precise analysis, the subsequent offer and the document management solution that was presented to us.
TA Triumph-Adler recommended the TOM (Total Output Management) document management solution in combination with TA Cockpit®, the web-based asset management tool, to us. This specifically involved carrying out an individual needs analysis and replacing our 112 existing systems – copiers, printers and multifunctional devices – with TA Triumph-Adler products, bringing the total number of systems down to 76.

The systems from TA Triumph-Adler are great. If you ever experience any issues, a TA Triumph-Adler service technician will be there immediately on site to fix the problem. A further advantage is transparency in terms of costs and consumption. The TA Cockpit® software allows us to see at a glance who is printing or copying how much on each device, and when. We also see the toner level and whether all devices are functioning properly. And the best thing of all, toner is automatically ordered. We don’t have to do anything. We simply pay a monthly fee and don’t have to give it another thought. At the end of the day, document costs are lower, and we’ve increased work efficiency.
